MATT (Tyler Blake Smith)
Suave and charismatic, Matt is a skilled ambulance driver whose life is a wreck. Massive amounts of debt from a botched business deal have left Matt scrambling to get by.
With no alternatives, Matt resorts to his favorite past time, underground casino’s. A compulsive gambler who never shies away from risk, Matt puts his skills to work by taking on a job with The Employer, setup by his uncle Maserati Rick.
ALI (Kane Mahon)
Ali is a fiercely intelligent and educated man. However, as a political refugee from Afghanistan, the only jobs he can find are washing dishes and back breaking, minimum wage factory work.
His only happiness is seeing his wife and kids for a few minutes before he goes to work his second job.
More than anything Ali wants to provide for his family, he promised them a better life, and one way or another he intends to keep that promise even if it means assisting The Employer with espionage, drug smuggling, bank heists, and other criminal activities.
SAMIRA (Kathryn Aboya)
After losing everything in the war in their home country, SAMIRA and her husband Ali moved to Canada to ensure a better and safer future for the their son Malik.
She is a hard working, strong woman who has witnessed her fair share of pain and death in Afghanistan. As a loving and devoted mother as well as a caring and concerned wife, she will stop at nothing to keep her family together.
HENRY (Kevin Corrigan)
Originally an Englishman, Henry migrated to Canada with his family in the 70s. The highlight of his life was the glory of winning a British Formula 3000 Championship. He was well on his way to Formula 1 when his path took a drastic turn and his racing career was destroyed.
Rock bottom came when Henry hit and killed a young girl while driving under the influence. He pleaded guilty and got five years for vehicular manslaughter. After being released from prison, Henry met The Employer who became his salvation and his worst nightmare. Driving for The Employer meant resurrecting memories of his Championship days. At the same time, it was a constant reminder of the life he had taken away.
AMBER (Jamie Elizabeth Sampson)
A 27 year old daredevil who grew up in Austin, Texas. Her mother died while giving birth and she was raised as an only child by her father Derek, who was a motorcycle stuntman. Amber loves bikes, she’s a speed freak – an adrenaline junkie who fears nothing and takes too many risks.
Currently Amber lives in Toronto, she works as a bartender in a strip club that’s runs by outlaw bikers. The dangerous and shady nature of the club feels like home, where she grew up.
ARSEN (Robert Gulassarian)
Entitled, rich, and young. Arsen runs the Canadian operations of his fathers criminal enterprise. But he has a lot to prove, and neither his father or his brother have much faith in him.
NICK (Jimmy Yu)
Born in Nagasaki, Japan and raised in Toronto, Nick is a part time student, but a full time petrol head. He is a living legend among local racing circles. Nick has the fastest S2k in the city, and even the cops know him by name.
He’s not the most upstanding citizen, Nick has been known to steal cars once in a while for cash and performance parts. He’s a rebel, an anarchist who likes to live on the edge. His life becomes complicated when he steals the wrong Ferrari from the wrong Russian gangster. That’s when Nick meets The Employer and is given an offer he can’t refuse.
MASERATI RICK (Mark Rival)
What y’all wanna know about Maserati Rick? The lead mechanic and go to guy in Arsen’s crew, Maserati Rick is Matt’s uncle and has been in the underground smuggling, black market, and all things shady for years. He’s Arsen’s own personal McGuyver, setting up and modifiying the crew’s getaway cars.
