Petrol receives two CSA Nominations
The Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television announces the nominees for the 2017 Canadian Screen Awards in March.
Petrol the Series received two nominations:
- Best Original Program or Series produced for Digital Media – Fiction
- Best Performance by an Actor in a Program or Series Produced for Digital Media (Kane Mahon)

Producers Ant Horasanli and Reza Sholeh from Toronto based production company N5 Pictures Inc, will be heading down to the 2016 American Film Market with their latest series Petrol and the crime thriller feature film Gear http://www.gearthemovie.com The 2016 AFM takes place from Nov 2 – 9, 2016.
Just Announced: Petrol Nominated for 2 Awards at RioWebFest
The Official Selection for RioWebFest 2016 has just been announced and Petrol the Series produced by N5 Pictures Inc. has been nominated for two awards, Best Ensemble Performance and Best Male Performance. Check it out here http://www.riowebfest.net/
The festival takes place December 1-4 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is the final round of the Web Series World Cup, an international web fest contest created by Joël Bassaget, web series blogger of the french newspaper Libération. The first round starts in Buenos Aires, followed by Vancouver, Miami, Austin, Washington, Montreal, Valencia, Melbourne, Ustica, Berlin, Marseille, Bilbao, Seoul and London.
