Petrol the Series was nominated for 5 categories at this year’s IAWTV Awards in Los Angeles! Nominations include: Best Directing for Ant Horasanli, Best Dramatic Series, Best Editing, Best Sound and Best Ensemble Drama.
The prestigious International Academy of Web Television will host its 5th IAWTV Awards at a gala celebration honoring the best in streaming series on October 4, 2017, in the Ahmanson Ballroom at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.

Director Ant Horasanli was invited as a special guest and industry expert to speak at BAM 2017 about the strategies of building an audience for a web series. As a member of the Canadian delegation, he also met with other Colombian filmmakers, attended conferences and panels, and screened some of the latest in Colombian films, web series and tv pilots.
The Bogota Chamber of Commerce and Proimágenes Colombia, with support from the Colombian Film Development Fund, hosted the 8th Annual Bogota Audiovisual Market (BAM) this year in Bogota from July 10-14.

Petrol the Series is an Official Selection of the Marseille Web Fest! One of 21 webseries from around the world that will be a part of the festival in Marseille, France from Oct 19-21, 2017.
Since its creation in 2011, the Marseille Web Fest has remained faithful to its founding purpose: to reveal and highlight digital series to serve the changing digital, promote the development of the industry in the world or just celebrate the digital series internationally.

Petrol the Series took home the Best Action/Adventure Award at the 2017 HollyWeb Festival in Hollywood. The Awards were presented at the Fonda Theatre on April 2, 2017.

Petrol the Series has made it onto the Web Series World Cup (WSWC) 2017 list. It’s currently ranked 19th amongst web series from around the world.
With 15 eligible web fests still to take place until December 2017, Petrol the Series is on track to move up even higher through the standings!
In it’s 3rd year, the WSWC seeks to provide international recognition that aims to recognize, support and promote the world’s most talented content makers.

Ant Horasanli, one of Petrol’s co-producers, has been invited to take part in the new media panel at the Oxford Film Festival during the Fest Forward event on Friday, February 17 at the Powerhouse. The general focus is on careers in new media.
